 Output Devices Monitor - The main output device of a computer. Printer - Used to print information on paper. Speaker - Converts digital signals into audible sound waves. Projector - A device that is used to project video output from the computer onto a wall or screen.

Input Devices In computing, an input device is a piece of equipment used to provide data and control signals to an information processing system such as a computer or information appliance. Examples of input devices include  keyboards, mouse, scanners, cameras, joysticks, and microphones .

  What is a computer? A  computer  is a  machine  that can be programmed to carry out  sequences  of  arithmetic  or  logical operations  automatically. Modern computers can perform generic sets of operations known as  programs . These programs enable computers to perform a wide range of tasks. A  computer system  is a "complete" computer that includes the  hardware ,  operating system  (main  software ), and  peripheral  equipment needed and used for "full" operation. This term may also refer to a group of computers that are linked and function together, such as a  computer network  or  computer cluster .
